01Product Safety & Interactions

Are your supplements third-party tested and GMP-certified?

Peach Vitamins curates supplements from trusted brands that manufacture in GMP-certified (Good Manufacturing Practice) facilities. We don't manufacture our own products — we hand-select established, certified brands, and most lines we carry are third-party tested for purity and potency.

Can I take vitamin D, magnesium, or fish oil with prescription medications?

Some supplements interact with prescription drugs — fish oil and vitamin E can add to blood-thinner effects, and magnesium can affect absorption of certain antibiotics and thyroid medications. Always check with your pharmacist or one of our certified nutritionists before combining supplements with medication.

Which supplements should I avoid before surgery?

Stop blood-thinning supplements — fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo, garlic, and high-dose turmeric — typically 1–2 weeks before surgery unless your surgeon says otherwise. Always tell your surgical team every supplement you take.

Are your products safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Supplement safety during pregnancy is product-specific — some, like prenatal vitamins and folate, are recommended, while others should be avoided. Talk to your OB or our nutritionists before starting anything while pregnant or nursing.

Do your supplements contain allergens like gluten, soy, dairy, or nuts?

Many products are labeled gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, or nut-free, but formulations vary by brand. Check the label's allergen statement or ask our team to confirm allergens for a specific product before you buy.

02Choosing the Right Product

How do I know which supplements I actually need?

The best way is a personalized assessment. Peach Vitamins offers a free 15-minute consultation with certified nutritionists who review your diet, goals, and health status to recommend only what you need — so you don't waste money on supplements that don't fit your body.

Can I talk to a nutritionist before buying?

Yes — Peach Vitamins offers a free 15-minute consultation with certified nutritionists and Ayurvedic practitioners before you buy. Book by emailing hello@peachvitamins.com or calling (404) 697-6066.

What's the difference between chelated and oxide minerals, or methylated and regular B vitamins?

Chelated minerals (like magnesium glycinate) and methylated B vitamins (like methylfolate and methylcobalamin) are more bioavailable — your body absorbs them more easily than cheaper oxide or synthetic forms. They matter most for people with absorption issues or genetic variations like MTHFR.

Do you offer personalized supplement recommendations?

Yes — our certified nutritionists and Ayurvedic practitioners build personalized supplement plans based on your health goals, lab results, and lifestyle, not one-size-fits-all bundles.

What supplements do you recommend for energy, sleep, immunity, or gut health?

Common starting points are B-complex and iron for energy, magnesium and melatonin for sleep, vitamin D, zinc and vitamin C for immunity, and probiotics and digestive enzymes for gut health — but the right choice depends on you. Our nutritionists can tailor a plan.

03Dosage & Usage

How much vitamin D or magnesium should I take daily?

General adult ranges are roughly 1,000–2,000 IU of vitamin D and 200–400 mg of magnesium daily, but your ideal dose depends on blood levels, diet, and health status. Ask your provider or our nutritionists for a dose matched to your labs — more is not always better.

When is the best time of day to take my supplements?

Timing depends on the supplement — fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) and fish oil absorb best with a meal containing fat, B vitamins and CoQ10 are best in the morning, and magnesium and melatonin work well in the evening.

Should I take supplements with food?

Take fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K), fish oil, and most minerals with food for better absorption and less stomach upset. Some, like certain probiotics and amino acids, are best on an empty stomach — the product label lists the ideal timing.

How long until I notice results?

Most supplements take 4–12 weeks of consistent daily use to show noticeable effects, though some (like magnesium for sleep) can work within days. Consistency matters more than dose — results fade if you take them irregularly.

Can I take multiple supplements together?

Most supplements can be combined safely, but some compete for absorption (calcium and iron, zinc and copper) or stack effects (multiple blood thinners). Have our nutritionists review your full stack to avoid interactions and redundant ingredients.

04Quality, Sourcing & Brands

What brands do you carry and why?

Peach Vitamins carries a curated selection of GMP-certified, professional-grade brands chosen for purity, potency, and clean formulations. Browse the full list on our Brands page.

Where are your supplements manufactured?

We don't manufacture supplements ourselves — we partner with reputable brands that produce in their own GMP-certified facilities. This lets us focus on curating and recommending only high-quality, tested products.

Are your products vegan, non-GMO, or organic?

Many products carry vegan, non-GMO, and USDA-organic certifications, marked on the label and in the product listing. Certifications vary by brand, so check the specific product or filter by these attributes on our site.

How do you vet the brands you sell?

We select brands based on ingredient quality, third-party testing, GMP-certified manufacturing, and formulation transparency — not on price or margin. We only carry lines we trust and recommend.

Do your supplements expire, and how do I read the date?

Yes — supplements have expiration dates printed on the bottle (usually near the barcode or on the base) and are most effective before that date. Store them in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

05Ordering, Shipping & Returns

How fast do you ship, and do you offer free shipping?

Orders placed before 2 PM EST ship the same day; orders placed after 2 PM EST ship the next day. Shipping is a flat $6.99, and free on all orders over $59, within the United States.

Do you ship supplements to my state?

Yes — Peach Vitamins ships to all U.S. states. We currently ship within the United States only, not internationally.

What is your return policy on opened supplements?

We offer a 30-day return policy — request a return within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase. To start, email hello@peachvitamins.com. Refunds are issued within 10 business days of approval; personal-care and perishable goods are non-returnable.
